This Season of Life: 21/52 “open your eyes”

08 Jan

This Season of Life is a 52-week photography project through which my friend Mary and I will share photos that depict various moments from the current season in which we find ourselves. Having remained friends for the past 12 years, we have experienced a lot of seasons together (and some apart), as we now live in very different places. Having stayed in touch, we continue to share our life experiences and challenges with one another. This has been an incredible gift that continues to shape our friendship. We hope you will follow our Project 52 and enjoy the images that we share.

Whew! It’s been a minute (or many!). We’re finally back to posting here on our Project 52 after quite a hiatus. Life gets in the way, and we just have to go with the flow.

Here are a couple of images of beautiful, natural settings that caught my eye from a recent visit with family to the local arboretum and mission nearby. Both images remind me to always keep my eyes open to the natural beauty that surrounds us. Enjoy!

PS: Before you go, don’t forget to see my dear friend, Mary’s photo. Just from the title, you can guess we live in very different winter climates! 😉 xoxo

week-21_2week-21Now, take a moment and check out my friend Mary’s photo this week: Snow in the City. While you’re at it, look around her site, Mary Goldau, a bit more and view our last Project 52. I am sure you will fall in love with her photos and see what a special person she is, just as I have.

Amen. So much beauty that surrounds us, which we often overlook. Love these shots, and yes, haha, we are in really different climates. 😉
